Each side — the Law and the Bandits — commands eight unique units. Select four to take the field, while the other four will load into your ammo deck. Do you play it safe with a steady hand, or gamble on high-risk, high-reward shots? With tense 5–10 minute rounds, every match provides a chance to test winning strategies and adapt for the next battle.

The Law, led by Sheriff McGraw, are a close knit group of frontier law keepers who look out for each other and know how to keep their town safe. The Law’s strategies focus on disarming threats and protecting their important units so they can get the job done.

The Bandits, driven by Captain Blythe, are a ruthless group of killers who don’t mind stepping over each other to get out alive with their haul. The Bandits rely on powerful reckless attacks to take out threats quickly before they can be overrun by superior tactics.

But beating your opponent takes more than being quick on the draw.

Bring the right crew. Each of the 16 units vary in accuracy and ability when deployed, and in their support effectiveness when benched. With the three deployable locations with different abilities – the street, the building, and the roof – many different builds and strategies are viable. Half of the battle is anticipating you opponent’s decisions and deploying the right team to counter them.

Aim wisely. Shots are traded across Main street in a tense, fast paced duel. With only one or two hits being enough to take someone out, the four units deployed per team can be wiped out in a blink if they do not identify and deal with the opponent’s strategy quickly enough.

How To Play

Players choose whether to play as the Law or the Bandits, then take the eight unit cards for that team.
Each player selects four units to deploy and sets the remaining four as their ammo deck, shuffling those cards and distributing one facedown to each deployed unit.

To start the shootout, activate a unit and reveal its facedown ammo card.
If the ammo value is equal to or higher than the ammo needed for that unit’s attack, the shot hits.

When an attack hits, the target takes damage.
After taking two damage, a unit is defeated and removed from play.

Strong units carry high ammo values, but when those cards are deployed, they leave lower-value ammo in your ammo deck. Deploying all your heavy hitters makes your shots less reliable.

For example, each team has an ammo value distribution of 6, 5, 4, 4, 3, 2, 2, 1. If I deploy my strongest units with ammo values of 6, 5, 4, 4 then I’m left with an ammo deck of 3, 2, 2, 1. That mean Captain Blythe, whose attack needs 3 ammo to succeed, would only have a 25% chance of hitting.

The teams trade shots back and forth across Main Street until one team is defeated – leaving the other standing proud over Silver City.
